About Release:

"With a firm rattling sound an ice plateau is splitting with its resonance resounding in the ice cold ocean. The cold sound moves through the deep dark waters. K100 starts its arctic journey through glacial fields of desolate darkness. Impenetrable soundscapes of deep rumbling drones and shattering metal plates. This distant music of ghost frequencies is an intense experience taking you to abandoned places where time stood still where a lonely factory ruin stands in the middle of bare landscape with the wind scourging the walls and whistling through its broken windows Titles such as no Light , Winters in the Making and Assembled from Shadow just say it all. The Vault of Apparition is a sonic journey through deep cold nights with a threatening atmosphere K100 is a project by designer Kim Solve from Trine and Kim design studio who did design sleeves for Darkthrone, Ulver, Arcturus and many more Being inspired by the Nordic seasons, personal experiences and abandoned places he created these dark ambient tracks crawling underneath the skin with unhealthy pleasure. The sounds are cold and bare making you shiver Glacial sound plateaus are moving slowly piercing the night. Deep rumbling of strings and squeaking metallic sounds bound by drones create an uncanny atmosphere. Some others are more industrial in approach with a machine like cadence and scraping metal like in Fevered and Childlike . Most tracks are quite short, something you won t notice while they go into each other to continue the atmosphere. Sometimes it feels like you are at the middle of this icy world, sometimes it is like deep down beneath its icy surface The Vault of Apparitions is a fine ambient album to satisfy ambient lovers who like it deep and dark"
